Discretionary Donations
The Enchanted Forest Community Trust has a limited fund every year through which it makes a number of discretionary donations to local organisations who are not registered charities or community interest groups (CICs). These donations are made at the sole discretion of the trustees and are considered at Board meetings throughout the calendar year as part of their normal agenda.
Since January 2023, the Enchanted Forest Community Trust has already granted discretionary donations worth £3950 to a range of local community groups including Shopmobility, Pitlochry in Bloom, Pitlochry Path Group, Perth and Kinross Scottish Women’s Institutes Young Dippers Group, Dunkeld and Birnam Youth Music Group, 17th Perthshire Aberfeldy Scouts, Perth Minorities Association, Pitlochry Music Festival and Pitlochry Winter Lights.
These discretionary donations are separate to the Enchanted Forest Community Fund grants. Any organisation wishing to be considered for a discretionary donation should complete an application form here and email it to info@enchantedforest.org.uk for consideration at the next scheduled board meeting.
Since 2016 The Enchanted Forest Community Trust has donated tens of thousands of pounds to local community groups and projects from proceeds generated from ticket sales to the annual event. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the 2020 and 2021 shows did not take place and there were no Community Fund awards in 2021 or 2022.
