Giving back to our community.

The magic doesn’t end in the forest

Every year, thousands of people step into The Enchanted Forest to experience something extraordinary.

But the impact of The Enchanted Forest extends far beyond the woodland trails of Faskally.

Through The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, the success of the event is reinvested directly into the communities of Highland Perthshire – supporting local charities, community groups and projects that make this place so special.

We are proud to be at the heart of this community. From youth organisations and community halls to mental health services, arts organisations, sports clubs and environmental initiatives, the Trust exists to create lasting benefits for the people and places at the heart of Highland Perthshire. This year, we’re especially proud to have re-structured our funding so that projects in Pitlochry, our home community, are even more likely to benefit.

The true legacy of The Enchanted Forest isn’t just the magic happens in the forest each autumn – it’s what happens in our community all year round.

You can also donate to our charity and continue this vital work here.

Our Community Impact

Since launching in 2015, The Enchanted Forest Community Trust has invested more than £650,000 into local organisations and projects across Highland Perthshire.

Supporting:

  • Children and young people
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Community facilities
  • Arts and culture
  • Sport and recreation
  • Environmental sustainability
  • Social inclusion and community resilience
  • And, much more…

Every year, new projects join a growing network of organisations that are helping to strengthen communities across the region.

Stories

Behind every grant is a story. A young person discovering a new opportunity. A community hall remaining open for local residents. A mental health project reaching people who need support. A sports club welcoming its new members. An arts organisation bringing people together.

Keep an eye on our social channels to see the real outcomes made possible through the Community Trust.

About The Community Fund

Supporting projects that make a difference

The Community Fund provides grants of up to £10,000 to eligible organisations delivering positive impact across Highland Perthshire.

We welcome applications from charities, community groups and not-for-profit organisations whose work aligns with the Trust’s aims and priorities.

We support projects that:

  • Improve health and wellbeing
    • Create opportunities for children and young people
    • Strengthen local communities
    • Promote inclusion and accessibility
    • Enhance cultural and creative life
    • Support environmental sustainability

Funding applications are reviewed annually by the Trustees.

Applications are closed for 2026 and will re-open in February 2027.

Discretionary Donations

Helping local causes throughout the year

Alongside our annual Community Fund, the Trust can also provide smaller discretionary donations to local organisations and initiatives where support can make a meaningful difference.

Applications are considered four times per year at Board meetings, subject to available funding. Any organisations wishing to be considered should completed this application form and send it to info@enchantedforest.org.uk

Together, We Create Lasting Change

Every visitor who experiences The Enchanted Forest becomes part of something bigger.

By supporting the event, you are also helping support local charities, community groups and community-led projects throughout Highland Perthshire.

Together, we are creating experiences that inspire, and a legacy that lasts long after the lights go out.

Previously Funded Organisations

Since 2016 The Enchanted Forest Community Trust has donated tens of thousands of pounds to local community groups and projects from proceeds generated from ticket sales to the annual event. Due to the coronavirus pandemic the 2020 and 2021 shows did not take place and there were no Community Fund awards in 2021 or 2022.
