What data we collect
Like most organisations, we collect data in the natural course of running our business.
This privacy policy explains how we comply with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations).
All of The Enchanted Forest Community Trust’s data is shared with our appointed marketing contractor Volpa Ltd who trade as Cunningly Good Group and who are responsible for managing the event’s marketing communications and have worked with the event since 2008.
We like to keep things simple so here’s an overview of what data we collect, when and what we do with it:
Our Show Visitors Data
Our show visitors purchase their tickets via our appointed ticketing agent partner, SEE Tickets Ltd, who manage all the financial transactions on our behalf.
They provide us with secure access to their systems via an online platform and through mobile app technology to enable us to:
- Track sales transactions
- Monitor show capacities
- Scan and approve ticket based access to the show
- Resolve customer enquiries
They also share with us anonymised customer data analysis using ACORN profiling that segments our audience into different demographics (based on postcode analysis) and which we use for marketing planning purposes.
For those customers who opt in via the ticket purchasing process with SEE Tickets Ltd to have their contact data shared with The Enchanted Forest Community Trust, they will also be added to our E-Newsletter list to receive notifications and information about future shows.
Our E-Newsletter Subscribers
The Enchanted Forest Community Trust sends no more than 24 e-newsletters to our database over the course of a year. These e-newsletters include:
- Access to our exclusive Pre-Sale period before tickets go on public sale
- Notifications of when tickets are on public sale
- Updates and news about the show, The Enchanted Forest Community Trust and its charitable efforts
The only personal data we collect and store in this database, which is managed on a secure platform provided by Mailchimp is:
- Your First Name
- Your Second Name
- Your Email Address
You can unsubscribe from this database at any time by simply choosing the “Unsubscribe” option on the footer of every email or by emailing us at info@enchantedforest.org.uk
Email marketing messages may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of subscriber data relating to engagement, geographic, demographics and already stored subscriber data.
Periodically, at least every 3 years, you will be asked to re-verify your subscription to this mailing list to ensure you still wish to receive communications from us.
