Mental Health North West Community Interest Company
Mental Health North West Community Interest Company have been awarded £3,000 to support people in Highland Perthshire with mental or physical health issues and anyone under-represented or marginalised to be able to get out in to nature with other people.
The group will use the funds to train people to be able to get out into and with their community, empowering 36 individuals to be able to potentially support not just themselves or their immediate connected groupings, and hopefully the wider community.
Originally started in Cumbria, they have been running a weekly Wellness Walk for nearly a year in Aberfeldy wish to expand this to other Highland Perthshire communities.
