Killin Drama Club

Killin Drama Club have been awarded £1,000 to assist with the essential upgrade of their stage lighting.

Killin Drama Club advance the education of the public in dramatic arts by performances. Formed in 1987, they currently have a membership of about 50 including about 30 junior members. Their main funding comes from the box office, local sponsorship and fund-raising events.

Performances are delivered in the local village hall and the group are always ready to welcome new people to the club, whether you want to appear on stage or help out elsewhere (even making the tea!). They rehearse on Sunday and Thursday evenings, and there is a small group of friendly folk who transform bare materials into wonderful stage sets on Thursdays during the day.
