Fèis Thatha
Fèis Thatha has been awarded £3,150 to assist them in launching a monthly traditional, Gaelic music session called Sunday Session at The Birks Cinema in Aberfeldy.
Fèis Thatha was established in 2019, joining the 47 other Fèisean already in existence across Scotland. They provide the opportunity for individuals to come together to develop skills in the Gaelic arts – song, dance and traditional music on a variety of instruments. They also make sure that tuition is both accessible and fun as well as professional and effective.
The Sunday Sessions will promote and celebrate Gaelic and our rich local heritage in a fun and inspiring manner which will expand Gaelic language and culture engagement and interest in the community.
