Pitlochry First Responders

Pitlochry First Responders has been awarded £3,500 to purchase a defibrillator and uniforms for new volunteers.

The Pitlochry Community First Responders has been set up to support the Scottish Ambulance Service and with guidance from the service to have a team around 10 volunteers to provide pre-hospital emergency care on behalf of the Scottish Ambulance Service in accordance with their first responder callout system.

Community First Responders (CFR’s) are visible to ambulance control who can then deploy them to provide an initial first response in the case of a medical incident in the local community.
