Highland Perthshire Community Partnership

HPCP has been awarded £10,000 to contribute to essential repair of the Pitlochry Pavilion, upgrading the lower floor which serves as a changing facility for sports teams or those needing an area of privacy to facilitate their event.

These works will allow the Pavilion to have a public toilet available for park users. Currently there is no such provision other than crossing the river to the theatre when it is open.

This regeneration will encourage greater usage of the space whose regular users include The Vale of Atholl AFC, the oldest amateur football team in Scotland, and Pitlochry Highland Games, one of the first re-established games in 1858. The building is also used by Etape Caledonia and The Heartland Music Festival as a communication hub and first responders venue.
