Press Release Release Date: 12th May 2008 Enchanted Forest Appoints Sound2light Productions The Enchanted Forest, the innovative outdoor sound and light show at Faskally Wood in Perthshire, has appointed Sound2Light Productions, the company responsible for projecting provoking charity messages onto the side of Big Ben, to produce this year’s light show: A Journey Through Space. The contract was won following a competitive three way tender, with Sound2light Productions strong theme clinching the deal for the Bristol based company. Sound2light Productions have already made a name for themselves by illuminating some of the UK’s most unusual venues, including the projection of messages onto the side of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in London. The challenge of lighting an entire forest, and transforming it into a lunar landscape is eagerly anticipated by Sound2light Productions: “The Enchanted Forest is a very high profile sound and lighting event and we are thrilled to be chosen to produce this year’s show. We can guarantee the visitor experience will certainly be something out of this world!” A Journey Through Space will be the seventh Enchanted Forest event to be held in Highland Perthshire, and is anticipated to attract 20,000 visitors to the area between 17th October and 2nd November 2008. The stellar theme of this year’s event is expected to attract the attention of star gazers from all over the UK who are deep in planning for next year’s International Year of Astronomy, a celebration of 400 year anniversary of Gallileo’s first telescopic discoveries, and 40 years since the first lunar landings.
