Q1. What
is the Enchanted Forest?
The Enchanted
Forest is a spectacular outdoor sound and light show which takes
place in Faskally Woods near Pitlochry. The theme of this year’s
event will be ‘A Journey Through Space’, with spectacular
lighting effects being used to illustrate space travel as visitors
make their way around the wood. Visitors will be treated to a
spectacular 10 minute choreographed sound and light show after
which they will be able to follow the path around the loch and
through the forest where they will go on a kaleidoscopic tour
of the universe.
Q2. How long does the event last for?
You should
be on site for between 70 and 90 minutes to fully appreciate
the event.
Q3. How do I get there?
You have
to get yourself to Pitlochry to catch a shuttle from Fishers
hotel to Faskally Wood. The shuttle transfer is included in your
ticket price.
Q4. Where do I get my tickets from?
This is a ticketed event. Without tickets or other relevant proof of purchase you will not be allowed access to the event. Tickets are available for purchase from www.ticketline.co.uk
Q5. When do I have to be at the departure
point?
You should
be there a no more than 30 minutes before your allotted departure
time.
Q6. What happens if I miss my bus?
Attempts will be made to place you on a later shuttle but if it is full, then priority is given to those shuttle ticket holders. There is therefore no guarantee you will get to the show if you miss your allotted transfer time.
Q7. Can we drive directly to the site?
No. You
cannot drive to the site, you must use the shuttles provided.
Anyone turning up at the site in his or her own vehicle will
not be allowed entry. The only exception is if they are travelling
with a disabled person who cannot get on the bus.
Q8. Where do I park?
Please
use the car parks in the town. Check out the location
map.
Q9. Where do we get the shuttles?
The departure
point is Fisher’s hotel, which is in the high street in Pitlochry.
Q10. How frequently do the shuttles
return?
The shuttles return every half hour. Return shuttles do not have any reserved seating and you may return at your leisure.
Q11. Is it suitable for children/elderly/disabled?
The event
has been designed to cater for all ages and abilities. The network
of paths has been specifically built to all ability standards,
meaning they are suitable for wheelchair access.

be able to get on the bus. How can I get to the venue?

Q13. What happens if it is cancelled
and how will I know?
The event
will only be cancelled in the event of bad weather or a major
failure in the electronics system. The decision to cancel will
be made at 11am on the day of the event. Shortly after we will
endeavour to contact you either by e-mail or by text.
You should also check the web site from mid-day on the day you are going to
visit, especially if bad weather is forecast.

Yes, you
will automatically be refunded.

You can, but only if it folds up, as you have to travel to the site via shuttle.
